One of the biggest issues facing the American public today isn’t the economy, it’s the ecology. When it comes to saving the environment, it takes everyone to help make things right. For adults, there are several clubs that work to save the planet, but when it comes to students and teachers, there’s a great project called The Ecology Club.

Environmental groups, such as the Sierra Club, have been working to save our natural resources since the late 1800’s. However, it’s always been seen as a project for the older generations. The Ecology Club is a way for the youth to get involved and do their part. It gives kids the chance to speak their minds, offer up new ideas, and for entire classrooms to get involved and save the environment.

Organizations like the Sierra Club have made it possible for the rest of the world to get out and make a stand. However, this is done mostly by the adults of the world and our children have no choice but to accept the decisions made. The Ecology Club allows students to find out what decisions are being made, and make it possible for them to add their voices to the discussions.

We can’t just tell our children to save the environment, we have to let them help by giving them a voice of their own. And thanks to The Ecology Club, students everywhere can offer up new ideas, add new insights to old discussions, and really get involved. The best way to save our planet, is to remember who’s going to be running it in the future. If we raise the next generation to be conservation-minded, they’ll take that with them throughout their lives.
