Advantages of using Home Made Power and How to make it
Home Made Power
If you are living in a remote area where you are not able to use power from the national grid, the best thing is to generate your own power. There are quite a few methods for you to generate your own power such as the use of wind turbines, solar cells and the use of bio gas units. Out of all these methods the most hassle free and environmental friendly method is to use the solar power to produce your own home made power.
Even if you already have your connection to the national grid you could use this resource to generate your own power profitably. It is not a difficult task to install a few solar panels on your roof and start generating your home made power. The only technical point you need to know is how much power your household needs.
You must buy your solar panels depending on how much power you need to run all the appliances available at your home. When you buy solar panels and install them in such a way to provide you with enough power, during day time you will generate more power than necessary. You have the option to store this power in batteries and use it during the night.
In order to use your home made power stored in batteries you need to use an inverter. The inverter will convert the 12 volt power into 60 Hertz 110 volt alternating current. This is suitable for running all your domestic appliances.
The biggest advantage of homemade power produced by using solar cells is that it will never cause any environmental pollution. The day all the households are able to generate their own power without polluting the environment our planet is going to become a better place to live. It has to come sooner than later in order to prevent adverse effects of environmental pollution.

Home Made Power – Solar Power and Wind Power
Home Made Power
By using home made power you will stop the ever increasing monthly payment to the power company. How many times have you looked at your energy bill and shaken your head in amazement? Will it ever stop? Can’t I catch a break?
Every household is spending a considerable amount of money to pay electricity bills each and every month. Though you take an effort to bring the bills down as much as possible by switching off non essential electrical appliances that consume power, you will never be able to save by a useful margin.
The best way to reduce your electricity bills is to produce your own home made power. Though you may have never given serious thought before there are quite a few ways for you to generate your own power with the use of methods such as solar power, wind power and common sense.
With your own home made power system in place you will have comfort in knowing that you can beat the monthly drain on your finances. With a few easy to understand simple tactics you are going to build your own energy capturing and saving devices to supplement your energy needs or to eliminate the need to be connected to the grid at all.
Home Made Power – Solar power
In order to produce solar power, you never need any pre-requisites. Sunlight is found everywhere in varying degrees. Therefore, it is a case of building your own solar panels and connecting them to your home power supply. You do not need to build the biggest and most expensive solar panels. Just by starting small and adding more as you go you will see increasing savings. A small solar panel made by using cheaper used panels will also save you a lot of money. Remember, when you make your own solar panel not only do you save money but you also are preventing environmental pollution.
Home Made Power – Solar Water Heater Do it Yourself
One of the largest recurring and spiraling energy costs is in the process of heating your household domestic water needs. Most homes have a 30 to 50 gallon hot water tank that is either heated with oil, gas or electricity and whether you are drawing hot water or not, the thermostat kicks in and you are paying for fuel or energy just to keep the water hot in the tank for future use.
Through a few do it yourself methods you can stop that part of your monthly energy costs. Solar water heaters are also good ways of making home made power though they don’t generate electricity. They save electricity, or the fuel, by heating water with the use of energy from the sun. Made of metal sheets that collect the sun’s rays to heat water, they provide hot water for the home. You never need the hot sun throughout the day. Even subdued sunlight will usually provide enough energy to heat the water considerably making it a good method of lowering your power bill.
Home Made Power – Wind power
Wind power is increasing in popularity as a way to generate home made power. Wind turbines are not expensive and are efficient but you need to be living in an area where there is enough wind power to turn your turbine blades. There are easy methods for you to build your own wind turbine. It is a simple device that consists of a dynamo and just three blades to grasp the wind power. You need to have a few auxiliary devices that enable you to transfer the power generated into the house.
By using a combination of simple methods of do it yourself home made power you will catch that break that you so desperately deserve. Start small and keep growing your own power plant by following the exact methods in our newest advertiser’s guide: HOMEMADE POWERPLANT.

Renewable Energy: A World Review
Renewable energy is so named because it is derived from such natural raw materials which do not get exhausted; for instance, sunlight, air, rain water, tides and geothermal energy. Renewable energy consumed in 2008 was around 19%.
New renewables such as modern biomass, small hydro etc. delivered around 3% energy. The most leading is the wind energy having a growth rate over 30%. Its worldwide installed capacity has reached 160 GW. Photovoltaic installation based on solar energy has reached 21%. California has taken a leading role in tapping geothermal energy with rated capacity of 750MW. Brazil produces ethanol from sugar cane, which accounts for 18% of automotive fuel for the country.
Renewable energy is most suited for rural and remote areas where conventional processes of generating energy are inaccessible. Over 3 million, people around the world are getting power from solar photovoltaic arrangement. More than 30 million rural households are getting light and cooking fuel from biogas. Over 160 million households are using biomass for cooking food. Micro-hydro systems have been developed for villages and counties through mini-grids.
The advantages available from renewable energy resources are most suitable for our times of climate change and global warming. First, such renewable energy is abundant. The only expenditure is on their technological utilization for getting energy out of it. Secondly, conversion of such renewable raw material into desired form of energy is very eco-friendly. There is little or no generation of greenhouse gases. Thirdly, these resources of renewable energy are most suited for rural or remote areas.
There are some shortcomings too. Locations having developed geothermal systems are found only in Western United States, New Zealand, Iceland, Philippines, and South America. Wind energy needs high-speed airflow. Solar energy cannot be exploited in polar areas for most of the time in a year. Water is unavailable in desert areas.
However, greenhouse and climate change concerns, high price of available fuel oil, more dependence on automation driven by costly energy are driving us towards gainful utilization of renewable energies. The Government is also supporting such endeavors. Many incentives are in place to encourage such entrepreneurship. There are certain regulatory statutes to include renewable energy generation such as in building construction and industrial activities.
One, there was an alarming situation with depletion of natural resources of non-renewable energy. This has also triggered mindset to examine other resources for tapping energy. The future will be less warm and we may not have to fight oil wars.
