In America we all know about the Sierra Club and that they work hard at Preserving and Protecting America’s Wild Places.

Another extremely important organization is Oceana dot org. By protecting the World’s Oceans, Oceana dot org and their many members help to Stop Climate Change, Stop Dirty Fishing, Stop Destructive Trawling,and to Stop Seafood Contamination.

Some of the other things that they work to accomplish are; Saving Sea Turtles, Safeguarding Sharks, Ocean Conservation and Advocating for Ocean Change.

The website of Oceana.org contains full disclosure on their mission, successes, annual reports, board members and staff and many articles that you will want to read.

This planet is composed of 71 percent ocean coverage. There is probably nothing more important in the saving of the human race than to Protecting The World’s Oceans.
