So sad.  How can we get the best brains in the world to work on this and stop the damn oil from gushing out into the ocean?

Seems to me that as bad as it is now, it will only be worse until it stops.  Then the nightmare of what to do with the oil and how to cope.

We have discussed our friends at FortheBayou.org before. This organization of volunteers had been having fund raisers and sending money to environmental groups to help save the erosion of the Louisiana Bayou. Now they have an even heavier load to carry. The money they are raising now will go to assist volunteers in the clean up.
