Building with recycled and reclaimed wood is about as green as you can get, and now engineered floors are made from reclaimed wood too, with green glues, so awesome.

Its nice that your into green engineering but it would be nicer if you understood the extremely large opportunities that exist in this area. There is this great company tag mechanical that really knows their stuff, is bpi certified, knows of a bunch of incentive programs like green jobs green new York, and is wicked cool when it comes to just answering questions. They have this sick ass $50 air sealing program through national Gris that you should so definitely check out, I loved it and saved 327. Cfm of air for $50 bucks. Kick ass mam. Check em out… Of you really are as “green” as you claim to be
